PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Design, calculation and construction of a modular press-on unit for an existing test stand. Generation of all manufacturing drawings and parts lists as well as the supervision of manufacturing and assembly.

Mechanical springs are used to generate the most constant possible contact pressure in a dynamic system. Depending on the dynamics, the contact pressure unit offers the possibility of using different helical compression springs and disc springs. In addition, a calculation tool was developed that maps the behavior of the system on the basis of the spring used and thus ensures the stability of the system in advance.
